Donations to the Sleat Community Trust
Sleat Community Trust needs your support, large or small, to keep going.
For the major projects the Trust depends on funding from a range of agencies, other charitable trusts and legacies. However, not many of these are willing to fund the day-to-day running costs, such as telephone and mailing costs, and the token salary for our Secretary, without whom the administration of the Trust would collapse. For this we must rely on local fundraising efforts and donations from our members.
The Trust has always wanted Membership to be open to all residents of Sleat, which is why it does not ask for a subscription fee. Instead we ask all Members to consider making a donation, either as a one off or on a small regular annual basis. With almost 400 Members, an annual donation of say £5 or £10 would place the Trust in a very good position to maintain its day-to-day running costs. A few donations of £50 to £100 would enable the Trust to do so much more.
it is entirely up to members whether or not they wish to donate, how much and how often.

If you are a UK taxpayer, Sleat Community Trust will receive an extra 28p for every £1 that you donate, provided you complete a Gift Aid form.
